BIOGRAPHY
Since graduating from the Conservatoire Frank has played with some of the country’s leading orchestras including the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, B.B.C. Philharmonic Orchestra, the English National Ballet, English Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra of the Swan, Orchestra da Camera, Bach Camerata,Central England Camerata, Corelli Orchestra and The Kidderminster Festival Orchestra. Frank appears on a new recording ‘The Fall of Jericho by William Hayes’ with Corelli Orchestra on period instruments. Frank also performs in a Trumpet and Organ/Piano duo with accompanist Darren Hogg as well as with Chamber music ensembles such as Sennet Brass, with whom he recorded Christmas from Worcester with the Worcester Cathedral Choir and Worcester Festival Choral Society.
Frank performed solo Trumpet on the 2016 live B.B.C radio broadcast of the Easter Sunday morning service from Worcester Cathedral and is frequently found in ‘pit’ orchestras for shows across the Midlands. Along with all these diverse musical settings Frank likes to fill in with the award winning ‘Fat Chops Big Band’ when the opportunity arises and at the opposite end of the spectrum performs on Baroque Trumpet with the Armonico Consort.
Frank teaches brass performance at schools including The King’s School Worcester, King Edward VI School Aston, Old Swinford Hospital School and The Croft Preparatory School, Stratford-upon-Avon.
